Description :

Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Artisan Electrician to join their company based in Gauteng.

Responsibilities :

Ensure all plant and equipment are operational from an electrical perspective to minimize downtime and prevent faults.

Identify, troubleshoot, and repair breakdowns efficiently and accurately.

Perform regular proactive maintenance on equipment to prevent failures, in line with maintenance schedules.

Execute planned maintenance activities according to schedules to maintain equipment reliability.

Comply with all relevant safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) regulations during maintenance activities, including preparation of safety documentation as required.

Source parts, spares, and equipment as needed to support maintenance activities.

Assist and collaborate with team members in the maintenance of machinery and provide on-the-job training where necessary.

Supervise and support assistants or contractors performing maintenance tasks.

Conduct regular lockouts of systems as required for safety and maintenance purposes.

Be available to work on standby and rotational shifts as required to ensure continuous operational support.

Requirements :

Grade 12

N4 Certificate in Electrical Engineering

Valid Trade Test Certificate (Electrical)

Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrician

Experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing environment

5 years' experience in HT Switching

Valid Driver's License
