Description / Synopsis :
Our client, a well-established business based in Moreleta Park, Pretoria, is looking for an experienced Accountant to take responsibility for the full accounting function of one of its divisions. This is a hands-on role that requires solid technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial processes independently.
Minimum Requirements :
- BCom degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting role
- Experience with Xero and SimplePay systems advantageous
- Strong knowledge of reconciliations, reporting, and compliance
- Able to work independently and manage full accounting responsibilities
Responsibilities :
Manage the full accounting function for the divisionPrepare monthly management accounts and reportsOversee reconciliations of general ledger, debtors, creditors, and bank accountsEnsure compliance with all financial policies and proceduresHandle statutory submissions including VAT, PAYE, and other requirementsSupport management with accurate financial information and analysisLiaise with auditors and assist with audit preparationSoftskills / Additional Info :
