The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results‑driven In‑House Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth across all three of our brands.

This is a unique opportunity to establish the marketing function in a rapidly expanding healthcare company that will significantly influence healthcare accessibility for many previously underserved South Africans.

This role requires a creative thinker with excellent analytical skills who can manage multiple but integrated projects and collaborate with different senior leadership teams to achieve clearly defined business objectives. We need a marketing leader who operates naturally at the executive level.

Someone who can articulate complex marketing strategies to boards and senior‑level leadership while expertly navigating healthcare's regulatory landscape.

Your background should demonstrate success managing integrated campaigns across multiple stakeholder groups and multi‑brand strategies within compliance‑heavy environments.

The ability to balance creative marketing vision with clinical accuracy and legal compliance is crucial.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Own the marketing function as you work with an experienced clinical and entrepreneurial team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives and deliver agreed KPIs across all three entities

  • Drive market intelligence as you conduct sophisticated market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer segmentation to identify growth opportunities
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with clinical, operations, and technology teams to ensure marketing drives business results
  • Build and mentor a high‑performing marketing team as we scale
  • Campaign Management
  • Execute integrated campaigns

  • Plan, implement, & optimize marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Orchestrate multi‑channel execution
  • Oversee content creation, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising efforts to ensure seamless campaign delivery
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms
  • Create compelling value propositions that resonate with diverse stakeholders : patients, providers, payers, and communities
  • Position our brands as thought leaders in value‑based healthcare and healthcare innovation
  • Digital Marketing & Social Media
  • Architect a comprehensive digital presence

  • Manage the company's online presence, including website, SEO / SEM, and social media platforms
  • Develop paid digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.)
  • Implement marketing automation systems, lead nurturing campaigns, and customer lifecycle management
  • Report on engagement, conversion rates, and other key performance metrics
  • Content & Brand Development
  • Create compelling marketing materials, brochures, slide decks, blog posts, newsletters, emails, videos, and promotional content for social media, conferences, and multi‑stakeholder audiences

  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and videographers to enhance brand storytelling
  • Drive compelling content creation and oversee development of marketing materials, thought leadership content, and brand storytelling across all formats and channels
  • Establish thought leadership positioning and position our brands as industry leaders in value‑based healthcare and healthcare innovation
  • Partnerships & Public Relations
  • Execute comprehensive PR strategy by managing media relationships, press releases, and public communications to amplify our healthcare impact story

  • Identify and negotiate sponsorship and collaboration opportunities
  • Build strategic partnership ecosystem where you manage relationships with healthcare systems, NGOs, government entities, and industry decision‑makers to drive business growth
  • Establish industry influence by securing speaking opportunities, thought leadership placements, and strategic sponsorships to position leadership as healthcare innovation experts
  • Event & Community Marketing
  • Plan and oversee company events, sponsorships, and trade shows

  • Build community engagement programs to enhance brand loyalty
  • Develop sponsorship strategies that align with our mission and drive business objectives
  • Performance Analytics Reporting
  • Establish comprehensive measurement frameworks as you build robust marketing analytics, attribution modeling, and ROI measurement systems to track performance across all channels and campaigns

  • Drive continuous optimization while you implement A / B testing protocols and use data‑driven insights to improve conversion rates, campaign efficiency, and customer acquisition
  • Report strategic impact and deliver marketing performance, and provide business impact analysis to executive leadership and board stakeholders
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing management, preferably in‑house.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, PPC, and social media management.
  • Marketing automation platforms, CRM systems and marketing operations tools.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Creative mindset with a strong analytical approach to decision‑making.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing, marketing automation, analytics, and performance optimization.
  • Strategic mindset with exceptional analytical skills and data‑driven decision‑making approach.
  • Leadership experience building and managing high‑performing marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence C‑level executives and diverse stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B healthcare marketing with understanding of complex stakeholder ecosystems.
  • Experience marketing across multiple brands or business units simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Experience managing budgets and marketing spend.
  • NGO or social impact marketing experience.
  • Multiple client‑facing strategic consulting experiences.
  • Experience with marketing attribution and revenue operations platforms.
  • Understanding of value‑based healthcare principles and rehabilitation services.
  • A passion for healthcare innovation, rehabilitation, and patient‑centred care.
  • Healthcare or mission‑driven organization experience.
