Working Schedule : 7a-4p or 9a-5p EST
Salary
Salary Range : $2000-$2500 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The Bookkeeper will perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and payments
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filing requirements
- Track and manage expenses and budgets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Assist with audits and financial analysis as needed
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Additional tasks as needed and assigned
- May manage information for multiple companies
Qualifications
Proven 3+ experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial roleProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online)Proficiency with PayChexStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingAttention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysisExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesPreferred Skills
