South Africas leader in Waste Management is searching for an experienced SHEQ Officerto join their company. This professional will need to implement the Environmental Health Safety Quality and Legal compliance requirements within allocated depots and sites. You will need to proactively promote a culture of safety by ensuring behaviour-based safety practices in execution of role on our path towards zero harm in the workplace.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements :
Matric
Grade 12
Related qualification in Environmental and / or Safety and / or Quality Management
2 years SHEQ related experience in the mining industry.
SAMTRAC
Environmental legislation
ISO 14001 EMS and / or Auditing
ISO 9001 Systems and / or Auditors
ISO45001
Key Accountabilities (not limited to) :
Continually strive to improve Audit results & compliance
Ensure acceptable LTIFR levels by supporting operation
Implementation of SHEQ awareness plan
Contractor management
Conduct accident and incident investigations
This role is accountable for behaviour-based safety -compliance reinforcement monitoring and improvement.
