IT RISK MANAGER

Minimum requirements :

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
• 7–10 years’ proven experience in Cyber Threat Management and IT Risk Management
• Applicable Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals; Microsoft 365 Certified)
• Solid understanding of LAN and WAN networks, network security, and patch management practices
• Strong working knowledge of VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions
• Experience with Office 365 cloud services, including hosted email administration
• Hands-on experience with Ubiquity and other Wi-Fi Access Points, as well as HP Aruba Switches and VLAN configuration
• Proficient in supporting and maintaining Windows 10 / 11 and Windows Server 2019 / 2022 environments
• Skilled in Active Directory administration, including user / group management, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and organizational unit structuring
• Familiar with fiber optic connectivity and various network topologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, while effectively managing multiple priorities
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across all levels of the organization
