Introduction

• A degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry and 34 years of experience as a Senior Analyst in a pesticide laboratory, with experience in an ISO 17025 quality system environment.

Description : An analytical testing laboratory is seeking a Pesticides Team Leader to assist the Laboratory Manager in planning and managing the Pesticide Laboratory's operations. The role involves overseeing pesticide analyses, preparing COAs for clients, and serving as a subject matter expert. Responsibilities include providing cross-training to staff, monitoring data quality, ensuring compliance with standards, maintaining stock levels, updating QA / QC records, and overseeing laboratory personnel. The role requires performing LC-MS and GC-MS analyses, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and staying updated on relevant regulations.

Key Requirements : A degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry; 5 years of experience as an analyst; 34 years working in a pesticide laboratory; knowledge of ISO 17025, Department of Agriculture, SANAS regulations; and familiarity with Quality Control systems, LIMS, and Mass Hunter Data Analysis Software.
