Job Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Afrikaans First Additional Language Teacher to join our Intermediate and Senior Phase team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Afrikaans instruction to learners in Grades 4 to 7, fostering a love for the language and supporting academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Teach Afrikaans First Additional Language to learners in Grades 4–7.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CAPS curriculum.
• Prepare learners for formal assessments and termly reporting.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support language development through reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities.
• Monitor and report on learner progress.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the language programme.
