Responsibilities

• Machine Setup

Select and install appropriate dies, tools, and clamps on bending machines, including those with CNC systems.

Accurately position metal workpieces (sheet, bar, pipe, or tube) using end stops or guides to ensure correct alignment for bending.

Operate the bending machine to form metal components to specified angles and contours, following work orders and drawings.

Inspect fabricated parts to confirm compliance with specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication and minor repairs to ensure consistent machine performance and prevent downtime.

Adhere to all company safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and health regulations.

Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and completed tasks.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.

Skilled in operating both manual and CNC-controlled bending machines.

Strong mechanical understanding for machine setup, tool selection, and troubleshooting.

Commitment to producing high-quality parts that meet exact specifications.

Capable of lifting materials and standing for extended periods in a manufacturing setting.
