Sales Manager – Luxury Travel & Tourism
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join a leading luxury travel and tourism company. This role is pivotal in shaping our travel offerings, driving revenue, and leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Performance & Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales consultants to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor performance metrics and evaluate team and individual achievements.
- Identify growth opportunities and implement personal development plans.
- Develop and oversee strategic sales initiatives, including preferred supplier agreements.
- Drive sales through coaching, motivation, and continuous feedback.
Client Experience & Compliance
Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service across all sales touchpoints.Supervise client interactions, response times, and communication quality.Oversee the booking process, from initial inquiry to post-travel feedback.Act as the first level in resolving client and supplier service issues.Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with the Product Team to manage educational requirements and site inspections.Collaborate with Marketing for content creation, lead distribution, and promotional campaigns.Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to senior leadership.Organize and lead regular sales meetings, providing insights and data-driven recommendations.Operational & Administrative Management
Manage team schedules, including leave cycles and shift planning.Oversee administrative processes such as deposits, supplier payments, and ad-hoc reporting.Maintain best practices, updating and documenting sales processes as needed.Requirements :
National Senior Certificate (Matric) & Diploma in Travel and Tourism.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales Management within the travel and tourism industry.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong client-centric approach with excellent relationship-building abilities.Results-driven with analytical and strategic thinking skills.High level of written and verbal communication skills.Preferred (Advantageous) Skills :
Degree in Travel and Tourism.Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software.Proficiency in Google Suite.Budget management experience.Benefits :
