IT Support Engineer (Desktop Support)

Salary : R15 000.00 - R20 000.00 per month, depending on experience + Petrol Card + Laptop

Working hours : Monday Friday 07 : 30 17 : 00 + Standby

Remote position

Area person should reside in : Kempton Park and surrounding areas, (Client base in Sasolburg and Vereeniging to be serviced in the field)

Own car and good wifi is required

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer to provide desktop support services across multiple client environments. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT infrastructure, while building strong relationships with clients. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where flexibility, communication, and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• IT certifications would be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, N+, Microsoft MCSA / MD-100 / MD-101, ITIL Foundation) but not essential.
• 2 4 years experience within a desktop, 1st line support and / or IE Technician roles
• Experience with : Windows 10 / 11 installation and troubleshooting, Printer support and driver installation, Microsoft 365 support, Networking basics (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP), Server support basics
• Own vehicle required, must be willing to travel to Sasolburg and Vereeniging.
