Machine Operator / Machinist

Requirements :

Grade 12.

Reading of engineering drawings.

Demonstrates operator capabilities.

Key Performance Areas :

• Operating machines.
• Setting machines.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Operate machines to produce pump pars as instructed by the supervisor.
• Set machines that he is capable of setting as determined by the supervisor.
• Notify the supervisor immediately if a component does not conform to specification.
• Take responsibility and look after tools and equipment provided.
• Keep their workplace neat and tidy.
• Perform any work or duty as required by the supervisor which the candidate is capable of doing in the interest of the Companys profitability.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures.
