Job descriptionMinimum 5 years experience in CNC machine operation, programming, and setting. Proficiency in Mastercam or similar CAD / CAM programming software. Hands-on experience with Fanuc controllers . Solid background in CNC workshop operations. Non-smoker preferred. Residing in or near East Rand (Boksburg, Kempton Park, Benoni, Germiston). Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. High attention to detail and precision. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Operate, set, and program CNC machines for precision manufacturing.
- Use Mastercam (or similar software) to create CNC programs.
- Work with Fanuc controllers to set up and adjust CNC machines.
- Perform quality checks on finished components to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain machines, tools, and equipment in good working order.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with workshop safety standards.
