We value the fact that bakeries have made a decision to order their bakeware through us in a highly competitive market, so we strive not only to deliver quality products to bakeries, but also to deliver world-class service to our customers, which they can trust.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Management & SalesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key bakery clients.Conduct site visits and audits to identify customer needs and growth opportunities.Prepare quotations, proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to after-sales support.Collaborate with the Draught Estimator to ensure accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Achieve monthly and annual sales and margin targets.Conduct market analysis and report on trends, competitors, and account performance.Technical Support & Project CoordinationProvide expert technical support on bakeware, coatings, and TracePan systems.Oversee installations, commissioning, and optimization of TracePan systems.Troubleshoot product or system issues efficiently.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.Train bakery staff on product use and maintenance.Product Innovation & Continuous ImprovementCollect client feedback to assist with product and process innovation.Collaborate with the technical team on testing and developing new solutions.Identify and recommend process improvements both internally and at customer sites.Administration & ReportingMaintain accurate documentation of client interactions, quotations, and project details.Submit weekly and monthly sales activity and forecast reports.Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.Minimum RequirementsNational Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).3–5 years' experience in technical sales, production, or engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment (baking industry experience advantageous).
Proven track record in business development and account management.Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationally.Apply for this exciting vacancy to be part our dynamic team.IBCO is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to Employment Equity.
