Technical Business Analyst (Senior)

About our client :

Our client is a global investment advisory firm focusing on long-term value creation through investment strategies. They work with a diverse group of institutional partners and pride themselves on their collaborative, sustainable, inclusive culture and performance.

What you will be doing :

• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and IT, facilitating workshops and interviews to translate business and legal requirements into functional specifications for Appian solutions.
• Design and implement Appian workflows and process models, ensuring critical elements like investment deal checklists and legal compliance requirements are embedded in the system.
• Drive the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Ensure solutions comply with IT governance and financial services regulations, including the implementation of technical controls and supporting legal checklist validation.
• Provide comprehensive training, documentation, and user support to ensure the successful adoption of new Appian solutions.
• Manage relationships with vendors and third-party providers, including overseeing Appian delivery partners.

What our client is looking for :

A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial (Business, IT, Computer Science, Finance, Law, etc.).

Relevant certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) are advantageous but not mandatory.

A minimum of 7 years of business analysis experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Appian solutions.

Deep knowledge of investment processes within the private equity, private credit, and asset management industries.

Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for investment deals, including compliance checklists and documentation.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a strong focus on detail and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proficient in business process modeling and familiar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Visio.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal, business, and technical teams.
