Field Sales Executive

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong existing customer relations and loyalty through ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints.
- Manage a defined portfolio of potential customers and win them for lasting business relationships.
- Seek and prospect for BC targets to win new customers generally in the 60k-1000k Euro range Net Sales per annum.
- Plan and manage medium to large‑sized business customers.
- Build rapport and trust with customers by being informed about their business and the market.
- Recommend solutions based on customer needs using industry knowledge.
- Close business by connecting customer needs to DHL solutions and offering value to the client’s supply chain.
- Use networks within the various sales channels within DPDHL to collaborate on customers, marketing strategies and full supply chain of services.
- Collect relevant customer information for the RFI / RFP / RFQ and prepare documents for customer implementation to ensure proper operational handover and implementation.
Sales Manager
Highlight market dynamics and competitor behavioural patterns.Maintain and support interdepartmental relationships.Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to achieve shared goals.Business Development
Develop sales plan, strategy and activities to achieve target budgets.Conduct high‑quality presentations of the entire range of standardized products to customers.Develop and continuously review target lists of new business.Establish and present customized offers to customers.Negotiate contractual terms of service provision aligned to corporate sales policy.Adhere to approved credit limits granted to customers and enforce agreed payment terms.Business Performance & Results
Prepare and realize planned sales calls.Achieve product targets.Achieve budgeted growth in new and additional business.Secure / collect all necessary information to assess credit worthiness of potential customers.Support receivables functions.Ensure clear business set‑up process and communicate commitments to operations.Report activities, quotes and sales calls through CRM.Perform roles in compliance with company policies and instructions.Required Skills & Experience
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, focused on outcomes.Proven ability to build and manage relationships.Champion for successful sales engagement.Strong understanding of the transport, logistics and freight forwarding industry.Working knowledge of airfreight, ocean freight, road freight, customs clearing, imports, exports and international trade.Relevant experience in sales, business development and logistics.Advanced multilingual skills preferred, especially English.Strong Microsoft Office skills.Results oriented.Minimum 3-5 years within the transport, logistics or freight forwarding industry.Experience in Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearing sales environment with proven record advantageous.Benefits & Opportunities
