Job Description
Our client is seeking a hands-on, solutions-driven and seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee all technical and maintenance functions across the hotel. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge and team management experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across all properties
- Manage servicing and upkeep of :
Heat pumps
Fire systemsGeneratorsSolar systemsCoordinate vehicle maintenance and schedulingEnsure full compliance with safety, health and operational standardsMaintain clear communication with management and provide regular updatesQualifications
Matric (Grade 12)Relevant post-matric certificate or qualification in maintenance, facilities management, engineering or a related technical field1015 years of experience in property maintenance within hotels, lodges or similar hospitality environmentsProven expertise in property maintenance and technical operationsSkills
Strong leadership and team coordination skillsFamiliarity with hospitality environments is a plusAbility to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficientlyExcellent organizational and reporting abilitiesBenefits
