Executive Assistant - at Somewhere. Remote - South Africa or LATAM. Salary : $1,500 - $2,000 USD / month (based on experience and skill set). Work Hours : Monday-Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM PT.
About The Role
A fast-growing tech-driven company is seeking a strategic Executive Assistant to partner with the CEO. This is not a traditional EA role — you’ll act as a thought partner, advisor, and operator, helping prioritize, plan, and execute at a high level to ensure the CEO’s time is leveraged effectively and company objectives are advanced. The ideal candidate combines business acumen, project management skills, and critical thinking to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a sounding board for the CEO, evaluating options, risks, and outcomes.
- Provide insights and recommendations on business priorities, including hiring, partnerships, and operational improvements.
- Anticipate needs and proactively propose solutions.
- Own the art of prioritization, understanding what matters most at any given time.
- Structure the CEO’s day for maximum efficiency and accountability.
- Ensure follow-through on critical initiatives.
- Support cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Implement processes and tools (automation, workflows, dashboards) to streamline operations.
- Manage and draft email correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
- Prepare agendas, briefs, and talking points for internal and external meetings.
- Join or lead calls when required, representing the CEO and company effectively.
- Stay fluent in the company’s technical environment and core value proposition.
- Understand product discussions and industry terminology to communicate with credibility.
- Leverage tools like Postman, Slack, and AI-powered platforms to enhance productivity.
- Light calendar and scheduling support.
- Handle follow-ups, reminders, and task tracking.
- Additional responsibilities as needed to support the CEO and company objectives.

10+ years of professional experience with exposure to executive-level decision-making.Background in consulting, project management, or operations strongly preferred.Tech-savvy, with ability to quickly learn and navigate new platforms.Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Flexible, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
