Purpose of the Role
To drive business growth by identifying, developing, and securing new sales opportunities in local, regional, and African markets. The Sales Consultant will implement strategic sales initiatives, manage customer relationships, and achieve defined sales targets while maintaining high service standards and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and pursue sales opportunities across assigned regions
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through strategic networking and client outreach
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and tenders
- Deliver product and solution-based presentations to decision-makers
- Conduct negotiations, close deals, and secure new business
Client Relationship Management
Retain existing accounts by providing ongoing support, guidance, and relationship nurturingAct as a point of contact for client queries and complaints, ensuring timeous resolutionConduct regular meetings to assess client needs and offer customized solutionsMonitor client satisfaction and maintain loyaltySales Administration
Complete all CRM entries and administrative processes dailyCollaborate with internal estimation and operations teams to prepare compliant documentationEnsure timely invoicing and assist in managing the full payment cycleGenerate monthly reports on sales performance and client feedbackProvide after-sales support and ensure seamless project handoverMinimum Requirements
Qualifications
NQF 5 qualification in Sales or similar (preferred)Equivalent experience will be considered where formal qualifications are not heldExperience
4-6 years proven sales experience in fire protection, fire prevention, security systems, or a technical solutions industry (required)Competencies
Strong technical sales and negotiation skillsExcellent customer service orientationAbility to manage high volumes of administrative tasks and reportingSelf-driven with strong communication and interpersonal skills
