The Technical Solutions Architect is a hands-on, technically proficient role responsible for the design, implementation, and operational delivery of robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Honours or Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications in architecture (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) or system integration platforms (e.g., TM Forum frameworks, API standards).
- Minimum of 8 years experience in software / system design and architecture, with at least 5 years in the telecommunications industry .
- Proven experience in hands-on technical roles , including system implementation, scripting, performance optimization, or integration delivery.
- Experience working with OSS / BSS platforms , provisioning systems, CRM, billing engines, inventory management, and network management systems.
- Demonstrated involvement in multi-system integration , data migrations , and end-to-end solution rollouts.
- Solid track record in operational support , incident triage, and technical issue resolution.
Preferred Experience & Skills :
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of telecommunications architectures and operational models (FTTx, VoIP, IP / MPLS, Layer 2 / 3 network services).Proficient in data modeling , relational databases (SQL), and API design (REST, SOAP).Familiarity with middleware , ESB , and messaging platforms .Hands-on experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and system automation is a strong advantage.Knowledge of CI / CD, containers (Docker / Kubernetes), observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and monitoring best practices.
