This role provides global system solutions, SAP, and other technologies, for enterprise-wide business requirements in the Asset Management Domain, is responsible for ensuring technical alignment to the functional operating model. Further supports the Solution Lead in ensuring that the functional system solution adheres to leading practice.
Tactical with a major focus on continuous improvement of systems in order to maximize operational delivery
Requirements
Maintain the Integrity of the SAP PM Work Management Process
Focus is on Continues improvement rather than day to day incidents
Train Business users and SSAs on new products
Take accountability for the Change Process in Service Now
If there are problems that the SSA cannot resolve they need to assist in resolving
Take accountability for training material in the Asset management space
Engage with functional Solution Lead and RPOs on continuous business improvement opportunities
Analyze business requirements, interpret and capture them in a technical systems requirements specification
Assist in the functional preparation of Business Process Procedures and Documents, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals
Identify gaps in current global/ local business processes and ensure optimization
Assists the local SAP Support Analysts (SSAs) – measure the SSAs’ effectiveness and facilitate any required training and support
Participate in regional governance structures
Review quality assurance activities for the functional area. i.e., regression testing, testing of change requests and bug fixes
Work with the regional stakeholders to understand local training requirements and design a training roadmap to ensure end-user proficiency standards
Work with the Business Lead to manage AGA requirements from Third Party non-SAP suppliers i.e., interfaces to the application
Work with the Global Access and GRC team to ensure process optimization, regional “fit” and compliance with statutory requirements, legislative regulations, policies, work standards, and governance requirements
The role involve global traveling to AGA operations or sites
Compliance with all processes for all incidents, requests, and changes (e.g. Manage Requirements, Critical Incident process, etc.)
Effective Service Level Management:
Engagement Survey - Improvement Plan
Ensure all global and regional vendors deliver against all agreed SLA’s
Ensure compliance to all IM and AGA policies and report on all matters pertaining to non-compliance
Ensure compliance to SOX, King IV, and all other relevant governance requirements
Ensure full compliance to IM PMO processes (e.g. gate reviews etc.)
Ensure patch compliance for all IM managed assets
Ensure Succession Planning is in place
Ensure that all contracts are in place before work commences and Procurement Process Tracker activated
Follow the current operating model and ensure that the Demand process is followed.
Further optimization of the IM Organisation (Advertisements, Interviews, and Appointments)
Identify non-performance and institute corrective action
IM staff organogram, compliment, and count are updated and signed off every month

Manage IM Ideas and Demand for the Current Year
Manage IM Regional and Functional demand for Following Year (Actively participate in Annual Budget/Quarterly Forecast Cycle)
Manage IM Shared Services Demand for Following Year (Actively participate in Annual Budget/Quarterly Forecast Cycle)
Manage Vendors
Participate in Monthly Incident, Request, Problem, Change and Project Review Meetings
Performance Agreements are put in place with sufficient details aligned with HR due dates on the system
Performance Agreements communicated to all staff
Performance and KPI Reviews are done timeously and relevant feedback provided
Performance Review and MOR process to include all of IM including Regional Staff
Cyber Security risk re-assessment remediation
Staff development via formal training where required
Strategic roadmap agreed with requested and initiatives delivered against expectation
Timeous completion of ad hoc requests
Timeously update, maintain, and action all items on ServiceNow PPM
Qualifications
Relevant Technical/IT Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management
SAP certification
At least 5 years’ experience in similar role
In-depth understanding of the Supply Chain landscape
Experience in architecture, system integration and solution design
