We are seeking a proactive Account Manager / Media Buyer to join our performance marketing team in either Durban or Cape Town. This is a full time role that combines hands‑on technical expertise with client service. Your primary focus will be on the execution, and management of PPC (Google Ads) campaigns.
You will also be the main point of contact for your clients, responsible for building relationships, reporting on performance, and actively driving client growth. This role requires a strong foundational understanding of marketing, a data‑first mindset, a passion for continuous learning and experimentation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key responsibilities
Client and commercial management
- Serve as the a point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of clients.
- Run client meetings, build strong relationships, and manage expectations.
- Professionally and confidently present campaign plans, and reports to clients.
Media buying
Plan, create, and manage end‑to‑end Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, P‑Max, Display, Video etc).Carry out keyword research, competitor analysis, and budget management.Continuously monitor and optimise campaigns to improve KPIs, ROAS, and lead quality.Reporting and strategy
Compile and analyse performance data to create clear, insightful, and actionable reports.Collaborate with the wider TDMC team (social, creative) to ensure a cohesive omnichannel approach.Must‑have requirements (Please do not apply unless you meet these requirements)
A minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience managing Google Ads campaigns, ideally in an agency setting.Proven experience in a client‑facing role (e.g. junior account manager, account manager, digital strategist).Active and valid Google Ads Certifications (Search, Display, etc.).Reporting skills.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.#J-18808-Ljbffr
