Responsibilities :
- Growth Strategy & Execution : Design, lead, and execute the comprehensive business development and growth strategy to meet the Association's overall goals.
- Expansion Leadership : Drive the expansion and adoption of the Association's investment strategies and services across the market.
- Associate Engagement : Maximise engagement and value realisation among existing Associates by proactively ensuring optimal usage of our products, services, and support tools.
- Full Adoption Champion : Champion the full adoption of our strategic funds and related investment solutions among the client bases of our Associates.
- New Acquisition : Identify, target, and secure new high-potential Associates (financial advisers, planners, wealth managers) who align with the Association's philosophy.
- Operational Ownership : Own the full lifecycle of business development from prospecting through to Associate success.
- Team Building : Build and lead a growth-focused business development team as needed.
Qualification and Experience :
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within financial services or wealth management.Proven track record of successfully growing a financial services business or distribution network.Deep understanding of investment products, fund platforms, and advisory ecosystems in South Africa.Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business, or related field (CFA, CFP®, or MBA advantageous).
