Job Specification : Snr. Accountant – Accounting Firm, Lynnwood

Position : Snr. Accountant

Location : Lynnwood, Pretoria

Employment Type : Full-time

About the Role : We are a reputable accounting firm in Lynnwood seeking a motivated Snr Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

Technically strong in accounting policy and taxation (VAT, PAYE, IT, DIVIDENDS)
Training and management of group of junior accountants
Client interaction and problem solving.
Proficient with sageware (Pastel, SARS efiling, Caseware, SageOne, etc.)

Minimum Requirements

SAIPA Professional Accountant qualification articles completed

3 / 4 years post articles

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and SARS eFiling.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transport preferred.

Ability to lead Junior Accountants.
