Job Purpose :

To co-ordinate the field and control staff in order to attend to all planned and unplanned outages

Key Responsibility Areas :

Responsible for the entire shift co-ordination.

Responsible for the effective dispatching of staff.

Taking active steps in emergency situations.

Participating in outage queries.

Participating in the transfer of skills and knowledge.

Supervising staffs.

Undertaking other reasonable related duties.

Competencies :

Problem solving.

Discipline specific skills.

Service delivery orientation.

Accountability and ethical conduct.

Team orientation.

Essential Requirements :

Trade Tested Artisan (Electrician).

In possession of a NTC6 in electrical engineering from a Further Education and Training

College registered with the Department of Education.

3 Years relevant experience in the electricity transmission and distribution industry.
