This role plays a vital part in the planning and seamless delivery of tailor-made land tours and group experiences across Southern and East Africa.

Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate and manage land-based tour programmes, events, and group travel experiencesSupport the preparation and administration of travel files, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all timesTravel with groups as required, providing on-site support and coordinationCollaborate with Reservations and Operations Managers to ensure commercial viability of travel files and alignment with company standardsMaintain excellent relationships with suppliers and ensure service level agreements are upheldAssist the finance team by monitoring payments, supporting collections, and flagging potential risksEnsure all confirmed travel services are accurately documented and kept up to datePrepare travel documentation and operating schedules, ensuring timely deliveryStay informed of country-specific travel restrictions and ensure group complianceProactively contribute ideas to improve guest experience, operations, and customer serviceHandle complaints professionally and ensure they are resolved in a timely and appropriate mannerRemain available for emergency situations and liaise directly with clients and management when necessarySupport management with special projects and additional operational duties as assignedRequirements and Experience :
A minimum of four to five years of inbound tour consulting experience is essentialComprehensive knowledge of the tourism industry, including destination management, travel industry channels, and current travel trendsA strong understanding of South Africa, as well as Southern and East African destinationsExperience with crisis management procedures and emergency response protocolsFamiliarity with financial management, including budgeting and margin monitoringStrong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, and travel systems such as Tourplan and WETU (preferred)Skills and Attributes :
