MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric or equivalent & diploma or equivalent post matric qualification in Marketing from an accredited institution.
- Must be fully computer literate in MS Office applications, specifically Excel & Outlook.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales function;
o Understanding of the product & / or hardware retail trade would be beneficial.
Solid understanding of customer service fundamentals.Organised with strong administrative ability and attention to detail.Ability to apply logic and pro-actively address supply chain / customer issues.Dynamic with ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.Strong communication skills with ability to interact with customers at various levels & contribute during meetings to clearly articulate or communicate a point.Must be prepared to work after hours as & when the job requires.Team player within a production & sales team environment.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Selling timber products to customers within a defined regional target market with a defined product mix ensuring that superior service and quality standards are maintained in support of the company Vision, Mission and Values. Secure and then maintain an in-depth understanding of customer’s operations aimed at servicing their timber product needs through ongoing interaction with operations in support of production processes. Perform sales tasks within the company procedures & policies.

Daily pre- & post sale interaction with customers through meetings, telecoms, e-mail, etc.Order taking and make sales offers.Monitoring orders, stock & despatching, by planning, controlling, prioritising, and directing customer orders.Following sales and marketing strategies / policies / controls as implemented by management.Ensuring high service levels to customers.Develop an in-depth knowledge of the product range & production processes.As the company and brand ambassador, portray the company image in the market of professionalism.Interact with customers in a professional, trustworthy and honest manner maintaining a high level of integrity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
