Job descriptionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Resilient and adaptable to different cultural and business environments. Conduct regular visits to African branches to review financial records, internal controls, and compliance. Ensure branch financial processes align with group policies and IFRS standards. Identify gaps and risks in financial systems and implement practical solutions. Prepare branches for internal and external audits by ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation. Provide training and support to local finance teams to strengthen reporting and compliance. Monitor reconciliations, stock controls, and asset registers at branch level. Consolidate and report findings to head office with clear recommendations. Act as liaison between group finance and branch offices.
Minimum requirements :
- BCom Accounting / Finance degree.
- Completed SAICA / SAIPA Articles.
- 02 years post-articles experience (recently qualified candidates encouraged to apply).
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across African regions.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and audit processes.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel essential) and ERP systems (SAP advantageous).
