Job descriptionPreparation of management reports monthly Preparing Invoices and submitting to customers timeously for payment as well as following up on payments Accounts payable and accounts receivable Assist and manage liaisons for annual audits Balance sheet recons Treasury management - daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow planning Maintain transactions from operational system to finance system Mitigate any corrections after deadlines Forecasting / budgeting preparation of schedules Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
Somerset West. My client, in the Supply Chain and Fleet Industry, has a vacancy for an Accountant with at least 3-5 years experience in accounting to join their team.
Requirements :
- Matric (NQF 4)
- Accounting articles with SAIPA / SAICA would be an advantage
- Relevant undergraduate qualification would be an advantage
- Certificate in Bookkeeping / Accounting is essential
- Bookkeeping up to trial balance
- Experience with both local and foreign currencies and cash books (USD and ZMW)
- Good communication skills (Verbal and written)
- Detail orientated and organised
- Adept in prioritising and multitasking with tight deadlines
- Valid Code B drivers and own transport (an inherent requirement of the role)
