Job descriptionVendor certifications (e.g., Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Cisco) in packet core technologies Exposure to 5G SA / NSA operations and cloud-native core components Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Shell, Ansible) Knowledge of lawful interception and regulatory compliance processes
Essential Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
- 35 years of hands-on experience in packet core operations within telecom environments
- Strong understanding of 3GPP standards and mobile core protocols (GTP, Diameter, SCTP, IPsec)
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, NetAct, U2000, SolarWinds)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (NFV, VMware, OpenStack) and containerized environments
- Familiarity with incident management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow)
- Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
