Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is driving revenue growth must acquire new sites as prescribed by the National Sales Manager in line with the overall business acquisition strategy to seek out profitable new customers for the Company client retention advertising sales and marketing strategy focusing on regional sales and customer relationship management within the informal channel of the organisation across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Identify New Business
- Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engage the potential customers in relevant sales campaigns to build new relationships
- Identify Business opportunities - Cold calling looking for new sites for Starter Pack Distribution
Operational Compliance
Ensure that call diary is compiled and effectively executed on a monthly basisEnsure that effective best practice standards of merchandising are implemented and adhered to at all point of purchase channelsEnsure adherence to company policy and relevant legislationInventory Control
Inventory control and balancingSubmit weekly & monthly inventory reportsManage all allocated inventorySales (Manager)
Ensure that achievement of regional sales activation and connection targetsMay also or alternatively involve providing back-office support to a sales teamPlan and execute monthly / quarterly / and annual regional sales plansClient & Customer Management
Ensure that your customer base is maintained on the master databaseLeverage both internal and external relationship to increase brand awareness and effective executionImprove customer retention in the SPI / SPD / SPU channels. Building and maintaining relationship with existing clientsResponding to enquiries in a professional and knowledgeable mannerEnsure cellphone network relationships are managed effectivelyBuild and maintain relationships with new clientsResolving Customer Issues
Respond to more advanced issue escalations promptly and appropriately; provide managerial approvals as requiredInsights and Reporting
Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.Analyse weekly and monthly regional reports to identify opportunities and threatsLeadership and Direction
Explain the action plan to support team members in their understanding of what needs to be done and how this relates to the broader business plan and the organizations strategy mission and vision; motivate people to achieve business goalsPeople & Performance Management
