Business / Systems Analyst (AI | Azure | Global Platform)

Location : Stellenbosch

About the Role

We’re looking for a curious, independent thinker who thrives on turning ideas into solutions. As a Business / Systems Analyst , you’ll work at the intersection of business, data, and technology for a US‑based fintech with clients across Africa, the Americas, Europe, and Asia .

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to understand business needs, explore possibilities, and help design scalable, intelligent solutions for a global working‑capital platform. This is not a role for note‑takers. It’s for someone who loves ideation, problem solving, and creative solution design in a fast‑paced, AI‑first environment.

What You’ll Do

Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to extract, shape, and clarify requirements.

Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and functional designs that developers can run with.

Participate in solution ideation sessions, bringing creative ideas, UX / CX insight, and rapid prototypes to the table.

Facilitate client‑facing and internal workshops to capture requirements, validate concepts, and co‑design user experiences.

Map and document business processes, data flows, and system integrations (as‑is and to‑be).

Collaborate with developers and architects to align business objectives with technical feasibility.

Support testing and validation (UAT, data validation, edge cases).

Use tools like Swagger, Postman, and Azure DevOps for API design and validation.

Contribute to continuous improvement through process automation, workflow optimization, and AI‑enhanced solutions .

Requirements

5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst (preferably in fintech, lending, credit systems or financial services).

Strong ability to bridge business and technical discussions , with a knack for simplifying complexity.

Experience with APIs and cloud architecture (Azure preferred).

Strong UX / CX awareness with experience in rapid prototyping and user journey design.

Comfortable in client‑facing roles and able to lead workshops to explore and refine requirements.

Confident in creating structured documentation but not stuck in structure, able to pivot quickly when ideas evolve.

Experience with prototyping, workflow tools, and low‑fidelity design for fast iteration.

Naturally curious, proactive, and driven by an AI‑first mindset that looks for smarter ways to solve problems.

Comfortable working independently but also great in a team setting.
