General Manager â Manufacturing

Job descriptionSenior management experience in manufacturing (textiles, industrial equipment, or related). Technical proficiency : drawings, CAD, machine operations. Knowledge of ISO 9001, compliance and export standards. Broad experience in finance, HR and operations. Hands-on leadership and strong commercial acumen. Efficient production with reduced costs and improved delivery. Optimised internal transport and logistics. Growth in domestic and international sales. Strong profitability and disciplined financial management. Motivated, high-performing teams aligned with company goals.
Technical Expertise :
- Materials performance, coatings and industrial fabrication.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino).
- Basic engineering principles : stress points, load calculations and material strength.
- Machine operation and maintenance (sewing, welding, cutting, assembly).
- Rigging and installation techniques.
- Health & safety compliance (OHS, ISO 9001).
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy : Drive company performance, growth, and operational efficiency.
Production & Operations : Ensure quality, timely delivery, lean processes, and compliance.
Sales & Export : Grow domestic and international sales, strengthen customer relationships, and maintain export standards.
Finance & Commercial : Manage budgets, P&L, and cost efficiency.
People & Culture : Lead by example, mentor managers, and foster teamwork and accountability.
