Purpose
The E-com & Performance Marketing Managers' main responsibility will be to oversee all strategic growth and innovation across web (Shopify), CRM, performance marketing, and tech enablement. This role requires someone highly proficient in performance marketing strategy as well as deep technical knowledge in front-end development, design, and Shopify customisation. The core objective of this role is to drive Burnt's e-commerce and digital performance ecosystem by integrating web, data, CRM, and paid channels into one intelligent growth engine that scales locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Building out scalable performance marketing strategies across multiple markets.
- Manage the rest of the Performance Marketing team and work with key role players to build out the performance marketing department and hire top talent.
- Oversee CRM strategy (Klaviyo); segmentation, lifecycle flows, retention campaigns, A / B testing, LTV growth.
- Lead analytics and reporting; site metrics, campaign ROI, attribution, and customer journey dashboards.
- Scout and implement new tech tools; personalisation, loyalty, AI-driven analytics, on-site chat, and global expansion strategies.
- Collaborate with creative & marketing on campaign launches, ensuring technical execution excellence.
- Own and evolve Shopify performance (UX / UI, CRO, speed, integrations, and customer journey etc).
- Manage and maintain the Shopify storefront, ensuring high performance, security, and functionality.
- Customise Shopify themes and templates according to business needs and best practices.
- Implement responsive web designs that ensure optimal performance across all devices.
- Collaborate with the marketing / design team to create, update, and manage landing pages, product pages, and promotional campaigns.
- Integrate third-party apps and tools with Shopify to extend site functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the website, including bugs, load speed, and user experience concerns.
- Optimise site performance for SEO, ensuring on-page and technical SEO practices are implemented.
- Monitor website analytics and reporting tools to measure site performance, traffic, conversion rates, and other KPIs.
- Stay updated on Shopify's latest features, apps, and industry trends to make informed recommendations.
- Ensure the website meets accessibility standards and is aligned with our brand's tone and voice.
- A deep understanding of paid media is required across Meta, Google etc as this role will need to oversee the paid media division.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience managing Shopify stores, customising Shopify themes, and building custom Shopify functionality.Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language for Shopify.Familiarity with Shopify apps, plugins, and integrations.Experience with responsive and adaptive web design.Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).Extensive experience with automation and integration (ability to ensure safety and sustainability of API connections).Experience
Experience working with Shopify Plus is advantageous.Familiarity with UX / UI principles and the ability to create user-friendly interfaces.Experience with version control systems like Git.Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other design software is an advantage.Experience in A / B testing and data-driven optimisation.Experience with Klaviyo Email Marketing is advantageous.Experience with spearheading complex technical projects and overseeing project budgets and timelines.Additional Information
