Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise the company's entire fleet of vehicles (company owned and leased) to ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective use of vehicles across multiple locations.
- Manage and optimise outsourced service provider costs and effectiveness.
- Manage service provider SLAs (e.g. DP World Logistics).
- Provide solutions‑based advice, support and continuous improvement solutions to the company.
- Financial and budget management.
- Support the SHEQ department in targeting zero vehicle‑related incidents through monitoring and managing the Optix Drive Cam, Mix telematics, and safety incident reports.
- Assist and support the operations to deliver effectively on all vehicle and transport requirements to meet the business and customer needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or equivalent degree or diploma in Transport Management, Fleet Management, or Logistics Management.A relevant post‑graduate qualification will be advantageousExperience
10 years’ transport management experience for a vehicle fleet of 180 or more vehicles, with minimum 5 years’ experience at a middle management level.Successful management of an outsourced transport service provider.Successful management of a fleet of leased vehicles.A proven track record of effective and efficient cost management.How to Apply
