Job descriptionEducational Qualifications Bachelors degree (mandatory) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Postgraduate degree (preferred) such as a Masters in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration (MBA), or related field. Professional certifications (advantageous) : Cloud Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Engineer). Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, Zachman). Project / Delivery Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile / Scrum Master, SAFe). IT Service Management (ITIL). Security & Compliance (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent). Relevant Experience Senior Manager : Enterprise Engineering Minimum 1015 years in technology and software engineering, with at least 57 years in senior leadership roles managing large, multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Proven experience in enterprise-scale engineering including platform engineering, systems integration, middleware, and cloud-native architecture. Track record of leading enterprise modernization initiatives such as cloud transformation, API-first development, DevOps adoption, and automation at scale. Demonstrated success in governing engineering practices across multiple business units, ensuring compliance, security, and enterprise standards. Hands-on involvement in designing and delivering resilient, secure, and scalable platforms that support multiple business domains. Experience managing engineering budgets, vendor relationships, and enterprise technology portfolios. Strong background in regulatory compliance, risk management, and IT governance within complex, regulated industries (e.g., banking, fintech, telecom, or large enterprises). Proven ability to build and mentor senior managers and technical leaders, fostering high-performing engineering cultures. Required Certifications (Baseline to ensure technical and governance credibility at enterprise level) Cloud Architecture : AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Enterprise Architecture & Governance : TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) Zachman Framework (advantageous) IT Service & Governance : ITIL v4 (Managing Professional or Strategic Leader level)
