Job descriptionAbility to work effectively both independently and within a team. High attention to detail and accuracy. Results-driven with strong initiative. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Conduct dimensional measurement and analysis. Prepare metrology reports and maintain accurate documentation. Oversee calibration activities and ensure proper equipment control. Provide technical support and assist with problem-solving activities. Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures. Manage metrology equipment and maintain operational readiness. Support customer-related measurement requests and feedback processes.
Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required
- Diploma or certificate in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
- 25 years experience in metrology, ideally within the automotive or plastic injection moulding industry.
- Proficiency in CMM operation and strong understanding of GD&T.
- Experience with PPAP submissions, APQP processes, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA / R&R).
- Strong analytical capabilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with technical teams.
