The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, technical expertise, and strong leadership to oversee all financial operations within the group.Desired ExperienceBCom in Accounting, Finance, or related field (essential).
Professional Accountant (SA) and CIMA-qualified (essential).
Registered Tax Practitioner (essential).8–10 years' progressive financial management experience, with at least 3 years at group or senior management level.Demonstrated expertise in multi-entity consolidations and management reporting.In-depth technical accounting knowledge and experience within the mining or industrial services sector.Proficiency in Sage Evolution, Pastel, or similar ERP systems.Core CompetenciesStrategic financial leadership with hands-on operational insight.High integrity and professional ethics.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.Exceptional communication and team leadership skills.Detail-oriented, compliance-driven, and results-focused.Oversee all group financial operations including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and reporting.Prepare consolidated management accounts and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and all regulatory requirementsEnsure full compliance with SARS, CIPC, and other statutory bodies as the group's registered tax practitioner.Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and financial institutionsLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across multiple business units.Implement and enhance internal financial controls, policies, and reporting frameworks.Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the Group Executive Team.Mentor and develop finance teams across the group's subsidiaries.
