We are seeking an experienced and analytical Strategy Analyst to join a leading financial services institution on a six-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong banking background, with proven expertise in data analysis, financial modelling, and product strategy. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing the credit and debit card product strategy, contributing to innovation within the bank’s growing digital payments environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Strategy, or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the banking sector, ideally in retail or business banking strategy, payments, or product development.
- Proven experience in developing, launching, and managing credit and debit card products.
- Strong capability in financial modelling, forecasting, and data interpretation.
- Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with BI or analytical tools advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed data and trend analysis to identify insights and opportunities supporting business growth.Translate analytical findings into actionable strategies aligned with the bank’s card and payments roadmap.Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts to evaluate performance and profitability.Lead and support the development, launch, and management of credit and debit card products.Partner with cross-functional teams across product, finance, digital, and risk to deliver strategic projects effectively.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to inform product positioning and business decisions.Prepare strategic reports, presentations, and business cases for executive stakeholders.Support ongoing digital transformation and payments innovation initiatives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
