Quality Supervisor

Overview

Quality Supervisor opportunity to join the Prestige Clothing – Maitland team.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality control processes and procedures.
• Actively participate in pre-submission sample discussions (risk assessments).
• Supervise a team of end-line examiners and line rovers.
• Measure product performance during production to ensure quality control standards are maintained.
• Complete random product inspections at stipulated intervals to maintain quality control standards.
• Ensure line rovers and examiners maintain quality control disciplines in production.
• Ensure that line rovers and examiners maintain a good quality control record-keeping system.
• Support the production line, technically.
• Anticipate potential product quality risks that could cause delays to bulk production.
• Support the style change process to ensure line changeovers are smooth and completed in the shortest time possible.
• Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum when quality issues are identified.
• Ensure controls are maintained to reduce rework and reject rates across the production department.
• Maintain team discipline.
