We’re looking for a Commercial Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years’ PQE who can quickly take ownership of matters and deliver results. Success in this role calls for critical thinking, strong problem-solving, and the ability to provide commercially grounded advice. Negotiation and client management skills are key, as is the confidence to navigate challenging discussions and maintain professional integrity under pressure.
Role Responsibilities :
- Advise on and manage a range of commercial litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, correspondence, and advisory notes.
- Represent the business in disputes, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, commercially practical guidance.
- Manage case files and coordinate with external counsel where required.
- Support the internal legal team with risk assessments, reporting, and strategic advice.
- Provide day-to-day litigation support for complex civil litigation matters across jurisdictions.
- Coordinate and manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and case-related correspondence.
- Oversee document collection, organisation, and management of digital evidence and databases.
- Prepare, coordinate, and execute document production and e-discovery processes.
- Assist with drafting and quality-checking privilege logs and discovery indexes.
- Support the implementation of litigation management systems and templates, including maintaining organised digital filing systems and data rooms.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial litigationProven ability to handle complex disputes independently, from drafting through to resolutionStrong negotiation, critical thinking, and communication skillsImmediate availability for a 3–6 month contractStrong knowledge of civil procedure, discovery obligations, and e-discovery platformsExperience working with large volumes of data and evidence filesHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office, cloud storage, and legal tech platforms (e.g. Relativity, Everlaw, LexisNexis)Familiarity with cross-border litigation, international data transfer, and confidentiality obligationsExcellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset in high-pressure legal environmentsProven expertise in litigation matters specific to the agricultural sector, with exposure to cross-border disputes and international jurisdictions as well as commercial contracts (including licensing, sales, supply chain, insurance, land and environmental compliance) is preferred
