Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Health & Safety policies and procedures specific to electrical operations and installations.
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits on electrical works and projects.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA, SANS electrical safety standards, and company requirements.
• Deliver Health & Safety training, toolbox talks, and safe-work practices for electrical staff and contractors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; compile reports and recommend corrective measures.
• Liaise with engineers, contractors, and management to ensure safety compliance during electrical projects.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement across all teams.
• Maintain emergency preparedness and oversee fire and electrical safety drills.
