Job title : SHEC Officer (Safety, Health, Environment & Community)

Location : On-site at Mine (North-west province , 30 mins from Sun city, 60 mins from Rustenburg)

Salary : Market related, dependent on experience and qualifications

Vacancy type : Full-time

Duties :

• Implement and monitor the mine’s Safety, Health, Environment, and Community (SHEC) management plan
• Conduct risk assessments , safety inspections , and incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and environmental legislation
• Maintain and update SHEC registers , incident logs , and safety statistics
• Facilitate toolbox talks , safety inductions , and training sessions for employees and contractors
• Liaise with the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) and community representatives
• Promote environmental best practices and drive community engagement initiatives
