Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Brand Manager / Marketing Assistant at Truman & Orange in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in development of the brands' strategy and takes part in brand planning;
- Assists in implementing the brand plans and key executions;
- Runs with the projects to drive the brand plans implementation according to the agreed timelines;
- Ensures all the executions and projects are implemented according to the high standard of Truman & Orange and reflect the brand nature, are consistent in agreed messaging & narrative as well as visual executions;
- Acts as a project manager driving various initiatives & campaigns
- Involves with and manages 3rd Parties & Contractors;
- Responsible for basic planning & reporting processes & deadlinesDay to day tasks will include :
- Assisting marketing team in running the brand initiatives and campaigns including digital & social marketing, media / PR communications, events and other off-trade and on-trade initiatives by working closely with the team of brand managers
- Engaging with the creative, trade marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent communications and timely executions of the respective projects and campaigns
- Participating in development of the collateral and other marketing material including copy development, engagement with the designers and production vendors
- Helping the team with POS management and distribution
- Ensuring smooth running of the financial processes including POs / invoices / payment management
- Coordinating marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, etc.
- Actively learning about marketing planning and execution processes, including brand and budget planning, data analysis & reporting, business reviews as well as confidently using teams' management systems including the A&P trackers, scorecards, and other data reports including IWSR, True Data, AC Nielsen etc.
