Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the front desk , ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and suppliers.
- Handle all incoming calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Greet customers and ensure they are assisted by the correct sales, service, or admin personnel.
- Maintain the reception area in a clean, tidy, and organized manner.
- Assist with appointment scheduling for sales, service, and test drives.
- Manage vehicle service bookings and follow up with clients regarding collection times.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, data capturing, and correspondence .
- Process petty cash, invoices, and payments when required.
- Assist with switchboard duties , emails, and handling client queries.
- Support dealership marketing and customer service initiatives (e.g., promotional events, client feedback follow-ups).
Key Competencies & Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .Strong customer service orientation with a professional, friendly demeanor.Ability to handle high call volumes and client interactions efficiently.Good organizational and multitasking skills .Computer literacy (MS Office : Word, Excel, Outlook).Experience with dealership systems (e.g., Automate, Kerridge, Evolve, or Pinnacle ) advantageous.Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging clients tactfully.Requirements :
Grade 12 / Matric essential.Minimum 23 years receptionist or front office experience , preferably in the automotive dealership industry .Experience with switchboard systems essential.Please follow our website and social media :
