Senior Customer Success Manager (Remote, South Africa)

The Role
We are looking for a Senior Customer Success Manager with a proven track record of building strong client relationships and driving retention and growth. You will be the trusted partner to our international SaaS client, helping them simplify complex challenges, maximize value, and scale with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value clients
- Drive adoption and success by explaining complex problems in clear, simple solutions
- Manage client accounts proactively, ensuring satisfaction and retention
- Lead consultative conversations, guiding clients toward business growth opportunities
- Handle high volume buckets of business with patience and precision
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand client solutions
- Re-engage delinquent clients and proactively manage accounts at high risk of churn
- Provide ongoing training and development sessions to clients to maximize adoption
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client experiences
Requirements
5 to 8 years of experience in Customer Success or Key Account Management, with SaaS experience strongly preferredStrong background with Salesforce or similar CRM toolsExcellent communication skills in English, with native or bilingual proficiencyAbility to work autonomously while thriving as part of a global teamProven consultative approach with clients, rooted in patience and empathySkilled at managing multiple priorities and maintaining long-term relationshipsComfortable with upselling and cross-selling solutionsBachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, but hands-on ability and results matter mostComfortable working Eastern Standard Time from 9 am to 5 pm, which is South Africa Standard Time from 3 pm to 11 pmTechnical Requirements
