Operations Manager (Logistics)

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Oversee all operational activities across CPU, Preservation, Convoy, and PDI functions.
• Plan and manage manpower, ensuring productivity, cost control, and compliance with customer KPIs.
• Maintain accurate billing, KPI reporting, and operational documentation.
• Monitor daily performance and lead supervisors to achieve efficiency and safety targets.
• Manage preservation schedules, ensuring vehicles are retail-ready and compliant with customer standards.
• Coordinate convoy operations, ensuring secure, accurate, and timely movement of units.
• Oversee PDI processes, ensuring accuracy, timely claims, and quality compliance.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and system integrity through effective use of V-Motion Yard Management.
• Lead and develop staff, ensuring adequate training, fair workload distribution, and compliance with company policies.
• Manage and reduce operational damages and associated costs.
• Ensure fleet maintenance, safety, and operational readiness.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators : safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee efficiency.
• Enforce safety standards, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with ISO and SHEQ requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
• Support ad-hoc customer requests and maintain strong communication channels.
