The Control Room Operator’s primary purpose is to provide support to the security department. To oversee the protection of sites through monitoring and regulating the company’s procedure. The following tasks will include, but are not limited to :
Responsibilities (NOT limited to the below)
- Monitoring / tracking of company vehicles and tracking devices.
- Monitor of all CCTV cameras for a specific location.
- Access Point monitoring.
- Monitor of commodities.
- Coordinate emergency situations with services.
- Daily reporting of occurrences.
- Reporting of irregular activities.
- Reporting of issues to the relevant department.
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.Grade C PSIRA Certificate.Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CCTV).Problem-solving skills.Multi-tasking skills.Knowledge of Company Rules & Regulations.Ability to work with people.Ability to influence other staff positively.Apply site procedures consistently.Sound report writing skills.QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES
