Job Purpose
The Mobily Department, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to execute administration and planning activities regarding fleet crashes, 3rd party claims, legal recoveries, losses, Fraud, traffic fine and misuse management and human resources management.
Minimum Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma / B Degree (equivalent or higher qualification)
- A minimum of 3 years middle management level experience
- A valid code B (or higher) driving license
- NB People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply
Key Performance Areas
Manage GMT self-insure risk strategyManage crashes, 3rd party claims and recoveriesManage vehicle related losses and fraud investigationsManage traffic offence redirections and misuse reportingManage the driver database, and review and approve driver sanction requests and cross border letters as fleet proxyHuman resource managementManage budget for Fleet Risk ManagementPrepare input for statutory reportingDesirable : experience in Fleet Management, Risk Management, Legal, Budget and financial management, Human Resource management, Supply chain management, Tender compilation, Client servicesCompetencies
Knowledge : Public Finance Management, National Treasury Regulations, Provincial Treasury Instructions, Government Motor Transport Handbook, National Road Traffic Act and Regulations, NaTIS, Administraive Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences Act and RegulationsSkills : Proactive thinking, leadership, problem solving, decision making, MS Office, planning, organizing, time management, communication, ability to interpret directives and policiesRemuneration
All-inclusive salary package of R per annum (Salary Level 11). Note on remuneration : CTE packages and structure per prescripts or collective agreements.
