Wage & Finance Administrator – Fishing Industry

Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements :
- Matric essential.
- Tertiary qualification in Finance highly advantageous.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar industry.
- Experience in Pastel essential.
Responsibilities and expectations include but are not limited to :
Compile the fishing vessel crew wage sheets and payslips.Draw docking day subs and hand over to the 1st office for payout once offloading is complete.Update the EMP 501 schedule to ensure PAYE, UIF, and SDL are reconciled and paid.Ensure retainers are paid on the 25th of each month by compiling payslips and sending to Head Office timeously.Track Squid cost for stock valuations.Help with reconciling advances.Ensure creditors' invoices are correct when requested by finance.Review attendance registers before submitting to Finance for payment.Please note should you not receive a response within two weeks of applying, you may assume that your application was unsuccessful.
